The Mic Test shows a live level bar and waveform as you speak, tells you if the sound is missing, too quiet or clipping, lets you record a short clip and play it back, and lists the settings to change on Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android and Ubuntu when the microphone is blocked. The Webcam Test shows your camera live, tells you if the picture is black, too dark or frozen, measures the resolution and frame rate it really delivers, and lets you take a photo or record a short video.
